Collecting Societies

Licensing of literary works
CLNZ was established in 1988 by the Book Publishers Association of New Zealand Inc. CLNZ is now jointly owned by PANZ (formally BPANZ) and the New Zealand Society of Authors (NZSA).

CLNZ provides licenses to help make copying, scanning and sharing printed works easy and legal for education providers, businesses and government departments. We represent the interests of authors and publishers and pay them when their work is copied.
